Bringing Your Whole Self to Coaching
A Phenomenal Way to Learn
Imagine sitting in a council of coaches, led by two senior coaches, exploring facets of mastery. In these sessions you’ll experience seasoned ontological coaches in action, witness live coaching, and ontological deconstruction of coaching. Sessions will combine real-time coaching demonstrations, discussion and breakdown of the coaching session as well as small group breakout exercises and conversation. Each three-week series is theme-specific.
This series is open to all practicing coaches.
The Coaching Mastery Series includes three 3-week courses:
- Series 1: Intuition as a Source of Insight
- Series 2: Bringing Your Whole Self to Coaching
- Series 3: The Body as a Conduit

*For ICF credentialed coaches, you can earn up to 4.5 CCE units per series and up to a total of 13.5 CCE units for all 3-series when you attend the live sessions. All CCE's are Coaching Core Competencies.
Series 2 – Coaching Mastery: Bringing Your Whole Self to Coaching
In this session of the Coaching Mastery series, we will explore working with our own awareness and how to use it in conversation. We will focus on how to bring our whole selves to the coaching session to effectively use not only our skill as a coach but our wisdom, intuition, emotions and body as well.
In this series, you will:
- Explore how to listen to your emotions, body, and hunches
- Learn how to apply new insights while working with clients
- Gain practices to enhance presence and using your whole self
This series will be facilitated by Newfield Mentor Coaches Stell Anderson, PCC and Deepa Awal, MCC. If you coach people who are caught in the pain and confusion of conflict, this session is for you.
Instructor
Deepa Awal, MCC
Deepa Awal has over 20 years of experience in coaching leaders and mentoring coach practitioners. She combines the discipline of organizational behavior with her skills, experience and beliefs about learning and coaching to enhance the capacity and competencies of her clients.
As an organizational consultant with Fortune 500 firms, and the Principal of her Coaching Practice, she has extensive experience in individual coaching, team building, 360 reviews and leadership development. She has coached leaders in South East Asia including India and as an immigrant from India, has rich personal experience that informs her coaching with leaders in transition.
Instructor
Stell Anderson, PCC
Stell Anderson enjoys calling herself a General Practitioner Coach. Staying true to the craft of Ontological Coaching (in its pure essence, the study of being human), her commitment is always to the person before her. Stell is known for her genuine warm presence and well-developed emotional intelligence. She gets to the heart of the matter using Newfield’s multiple entry points to invite personal development and sustainable change.
Having begun her ontological studies in 1989 and with over 20 years as a personal and executive coach, Stell’s experience runs long and deep. Additionally, Stell’s first-hand experience living cross-culturally, informs her generative fluency in working with clients from North and South Americas, the Caribbean, and Europe.
